  • Roman Britain Overview (Agrippa will talk about the armour and weapons used by the soldiers who invaded Britain, and the battle formations that they employed. He will then explain in detail, what happened during the three Roman invasions of Britain).
  • Roman Soldier (Agrippa will show the children some of the weapons, armour and equipment used by the average Roman soldier, as well as show them some of the battle formations and tactics used. This will be in more detail than in the Roman Britain Overview).

About the presenter

Leigh is a former primary school teacher, who now owns Historic Workshops. Leigh and his team travel nationwide, providing in-school history workshops. He is a historian, specialising in the world wars, but also has an extensive knowledge of the Romans and especially of Roman Britain.
