FAQsSee below the answers to our most frequently asked questions!
How does the workshop take place? In our confirmation of the booking, we will provide you with a link for you to join the virtual workshop. There shouldn't be anything you need to download, as most providers offer browser-based access.
What happens once I've submitted the Booking Form?We will check that the dates are still available with our workshop leader and either confirm the booking with you via email, or email you to arrange an alternative date/time.
Can multiple classes attend the same call?Yes, although our virtual workshops are designed to be delivered to one class at a time, and the children undoubtedly get a much more valuable and intimate experience with fewer of them in attendance. We highly recommend keeping it to a class per workshop.
Can children attend from home if they are learning from home?Yes, there is no additional cost for this, but you must be aware that we cannot possibly moderate features like group chat and hiding children's cameras whilst presenting. Where possible, we will give you the ability to co-host so that you can moderate these things.
Is there an additional cost for multiple classes? No, unlike most virtual workshop providers, we strongly believe that schools shouldn't have to pay more just for connecting more devices to the same session. You pay the same amount whether it's for one, two, three or four classes (or even 120 children joining from home!)
Are there any resources (worksheets) provided to accompany workshops? In most cases, no. If you choose to have a pre-planned presentation, followed by a Q&A session, you might get an accompanying worksheet if the workshop leader feels it would be beneficial. If one is provided, it will say on the listing.
