Ancient Greece - Alexander will introduce who the Ancient Greeks were, where in the world they came from, and discuss why they were so successful. He will show the children a range of replica weapons and equipment and describe how these would be used by the average Greek Hoplite. He will briefly cover some of the great Greek achievements which have helped shape our world! Approx. 40 minutes, followed by a 20 minute Q&A session

About the presenter

Leigh is a former primary school teacher, who now owns Historic Workshops. Leigh and his team travel nationwide, providing in-school history workshops. He is a historian, specialising in the world wars.
